Randy's Adventures

Randy and a goose. He spent one day out on a boat catching geese as they swam away under the water. The geese were then taken to shore to be sexed and banded before being released.

Randy and the first cougar he got to work with. The cougar is sedated and they are getting ready to move him to a better location then someone's front porch.

The first moose Randy darted. The moose was then transported away from town.

Randy invited me to help process a yearling bear. We worked with the state wildlife veterinarian to sedate, examine, and treat this black bear before Randy transferred her to a rehabilitation facility and hopefully she will be released in the coming months. This was worth getting up at 3:45 am. A big thank you to my mom for watching Roo so I could go.

July 2017
  • Roo put her feet in the pool for the first time at Aunt Kamie's house. She felt pretty neutral about the experience
  • I went back to work full time. I was able to rearrange my hours so I work three 9 hour days and one 4 hour day. My mom, Cathy, and Kamie watched her for me this month. Roo starts daycare this week.
  • Roo rolled over from her back to her stomach!
  • We went to Chris and Jamie's house for the 4th.
  • For my birthday, my dad detailed my car for me. It looks brand new! Thank you Dad!
  • Roo turned 3 months. She can hold up her head and look from side. She has finally decided that tummy time isn't so bad.
  • I took Winter to work with me last week so she could get her vaccines. Poor thing didn't feel well the next day but today she is finally back to her sassy self.
  • Randy and I have each been given additional callings at church. Randy and I teach the 12-13 year olds for Sunday school, I am still secretary for young women, and Randy is the Emergency Preparedness Specialist.
  • Randy and I went to the Ogden temple to perform sealings. This was the first time we have gone to the temple since Roo was born.

A Few Favorite Moments

I learned something new for this post, a tiny bit of HTML coding. Holy moly, it took forever or else there would be about a million more pictures. A big thank you to Randy for helping me figure it out.

Roo sleeps like her dad, arms out to the side, Mitch still just adores her, and Roo and Olivia have no choice in becoming best friends.
